Nick Thune, comedian/actor/writer/bird owner, is from Seattle, Washington. Nick has been on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno two times.  On both occasions, he won.  Comedy Central presented a half hour of Nick’s ‘world class’ stand up comedy.  It was a success for everyone involved, including the audience.  Comedy Central also paid Nick to make iThunes, a series of short films for the world wide web.

The people wanted more - ABC came calling.  Nick is in the process of creating/writing a sitcom, ‘The Nick Thune Experience”. Ruben Fliescher, directed iThunes, and writer Bob Fischer, wedding crashers, will work with Nick on the project.  In his free time, Nick grows tomatoes and tours the country, touching hearts, one joke at a time.  For more information on Nick, believe in yourself.

Alex:  It’s nice to be here in your house, lets get started with the questions.  Nick Thune is a powerful name… is Nick short for anything?
Nick:  Yes, Nicholas.

Alex:  Is it true that you were born in Seattle and lived there until you were 24?

Nick:  Yes.

Alex:  Did you move to LA after that?

Nick:  Yes.

Alex:  Wouldn’t you say that you have had a great life?  Good parents, a younger sister, two younger brothers that happen to be twins.

Nick:  Yes, I was brought up in a—

Alex:  And would you agree with me if I were to say you worked at the Boys & Girls Club in Seattle right up until you moved to LA to pursue stand up comedy?

Nick:  Yes I wou—

Alex:  Now lets talk about that.  You are a comic, performing regularly in Los Angeles at the Improv and the Laugh Factory.  What is that like?  In fact, let me take a stab and you tell me if I’m right.  I assume it’s fun, I’m sure you have done some cool things with your career.  Off the top of my head, HBO Aspen Comedy Festival, shot a few movies yada yada yada.  Right so far?

Nick:  Um, yeah I guess that about—

Alex:  Knocked Up, Unaccompanied Minors, Highway 61, Spring Break Down… are those the movies you worked on and do they come out in late 2006 and early 2007?

Nick:  Yes, I am also working on—

Alex:  Some short films for Comedy Central followed by your own special.  Is that fun?

Nick:  I guess.  Do you wanna just write my bio—

Alex:  Great Nick, I hope you have a good day.  Thanks for taking the time to answer some questions.
